Kuppelrestaurant in der Yenidze in Dresden

Today we were spontaneously as a family in the dome restaurant for lunch. It was fantastic. We had the rump steak, the duck, a kid's dish and chicken (with an oriental touch :)). Everything was very delicious. The service was very nice and attentive. Another plus point: the restaurant is child-friendly. We had our 6 year old with us, who of course had to inspect everything. The highlight for him was that he could order his own lemonade :). He did well. But also here thanks to the waitress who took the time to listen to him and also to answer. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen too often anymore. All in all, we had a wonderful lunch with a great view of Dresden. Thanks a lot for this! We keep our fingers crossed that the Yenidze dome restaurant will survive the upcoming shutdown until the end of November and can then reopen.

I think that people go here for the great view of Dresden rather than the food. We thought that it would have a bit of an oriental touch - no result! German cuisine. The half duck was very dry and fibrous, the fish was good! But the view is perfect, the service very nice! You cannot visit the dome at the moment, but take a look (see pictures)

The view is really beautiful, but then it stops. The prices are way too high for what you get. More like an apprentice cook in terms of taste Staff also very unprofessional (are everyone sick and only the temporary help?). Unfortunately, absolutely not to be recommended.

I found the offer extremely likeable: the chairs are extremely comfortable and I think the distance between the seats is extremely reasonable. There you in no way get the feeling of dining like sardines in a can. Not only the nice staff was the absolute hit during my visit, but also the unique flair. The taste here is very much a delicacy. The portions are in a good and filling league.

Nice view while eating. I had boiled beef, the meat was great in the sauce, but for me too little horseradish and unfortunately there were no boiled potatoes either.

Great location over Dresden; In addition, there is delicious food, friendly service. We were here with a larger group for dinner, the staff had everything under control and had no problem with collecting payments from us individually.

The beer garden with probably the best view over Dresden. The waitresses were nice and much more attentive than in some other tourist restaurants. The food was good.

Positive: nice view. Cons: the service. I have rarely seen service staff who are so unfriendly. Out of 6 meals ordered, one meal was not tasty at all. That can happen, but the way it is handled was not at all right. You don't want to hear sentences like "the food tastes like nothing" and subsequent gossip about customers. At least the other 5 dishes tasted good. The furniture looks relatively cheap compared to the location. I would have expected more. All in all, therefore, no more than 2 stars are possible.

As tourists, we visited this beautiful place with a view over the roofs of Dresden. The service had apparently not quite survived the turning point, basic knowledge of gastronomy would be pushed back to the year of construction of the building. Top view Gastronomy flop

You always start with the positive: the view is really unbelievably beautiful - you really can't say anything negative. The food is also absolutely fine in terms of taste. But: unfortunately the portion sizes are relatively small compared to the price. Out of 6 people, 4 still needed dessert to be full. The staff was also professional, but not too friendly when dealing with customers. Conclusion: two star deduction because of the suboptimal price / performance ratio and the way we deal with customers. You can definitely do it, wonderful view. But if you really want nice and good food, you can also visit other restaurants - it will be cheaper and sometimes a little friendlier.

The restaurant is in a great location to look over part of Dresden. The kitchen is great and the food is delicious. The operation takes some getting used to, but it has been there for ages and somehow fits. Unfortunately you always have the feeling that the staff is understaffed. It's a shame because the restaurant makes a really unique impression

Nice ambience and tasty food! It was not possible to get full if you had to save on rice. You can tell that the tourist is coming anyway. A little more strenuous people, otherwise the location will soon be of no help!

I came here to enjoy the view and to have a cup of tea. The waiter was super not nice and not friendly. First, she was not happy that I've picked the certain table and then she was disappointed that I've ordered just tea.

Service was very friendly and attentive. Even if the restaurant is located quite high, there is still a lot of room for improvement. I agree with the suspicion of others that much of the ingredients are served. No highlight and if the fairytale dome is no more, no extra visit worth more.

Very slow service and the food is very expensive for what you get... Nevertheless this place has the greatest view of Dresden

After we visited Dresden today, Google Maps led us to this restaurant which was right next to the parking garage where we parked our car that morning. We had a very nice terrace with a beautiful 360 ° view. About the service: We were served quickly, unfortunately we had no overview of who is responsible for our table, in the end it didn't matter, because we were served by several friendly service staff. To eat: Starter good, Main course good, Dessert good. Price-performance: Absolutely ok for the location and the quality ? Thank you for the hospitality

Nice view over the city, but the price for spaghetti is much too high. Spaghetti were some kind of dry and without any sauce.

Highly recommended restaurant. Price performance absolutely ok and very nice service. The beer garden reopens next week. A highlight when the weather is nice.

Place was really nice and cosy but food was not that good and they don't have many options. Prices was a bit high for food quality. However service is very good and people are friendly

One of nice attraction of the City

The picture is the beer garden deck. We ate in restaurant one level up. 7th floor so great view, and best meal I had in dresden!

Unfulfilled potential – shame. Very interesting building, one of Dresden's landmarks, yet it – the restaurant in particular – feels rusty and unlooked after. Food was mediocre at best , yet prices were by no means small.
